Juice Plus® Tower Garden® lights are NOT full spectrum, meaning you cannot grow fruiting or flowering plants, and are limited to leafy veggies. Another flaw of the Juice Plus® Tower Garden® lights is that they aren’t long enough on the Flex model and offer 4 strips of lights.

The Tower Garden® comes with a variety of seeds. You do not get to choose what seeds you get. Juice Plus also provides their own brand of nutrients that costs $60 with high shipping costs and restrictions. The proprietary blend makes it difficult and expensive to maintain and grow.
Tower Garden® uses Aeroponics as its hydroponics technology. This method, although efficient, is only as effective as the design of the tower garden itself. A narrow tower means less access to the nutrients and less aeration/oxygen levels to the roots.
Tower Garden® offers several extensions that vary in cost from $89 - $120 to add an additional 8-20 planting sites, making it complicated, confusing and expensive. The LED lights would NOT reach all the plants with the extension. There are no options to reduce the number of planting sites if you want to only use 10 or 12 sites.
The Tower Garden® is easy to use, but the narrow tower and the use of Aeroponics systems require a DAILY check of water levels and nutrients. One would also need to trim roots as needed to keep them clear from the pump and the mist nozzles which could block the spray.
