All but our Hydroponics Solo Cube requires a fair amount of assembly. These units are large and shipping them can be ineffective. That’s why we design our units to be modular and easy to install.
They come with an instruction manual and once you make the purchase, we email you a few videos that show how the units are assembled.
Nutraponics Systems are designed in USA, and are manufactured in a quality-controlled plant in Guangzhou, CN.
We make sure that all the products go through a QA/QC process to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers. Each product is tested for durability and effectiveness.
At Nutraponics, we engineer our systems to deliver consistent & efficient results. We know that hydroponics can be challenging or confusing when starting out, and we want to make sure the experience is nothing short of fun.
Thats why we always design our kits so that even people new to hydroponics can enjoy using our kits and learn to get into hydroponics confidently.
The towers are about 24″ in diameter, and vary in height ranging from about 3’4″ to 5’6″. With the light extensions, the towers grow outwards by an additional 12″.
We do provide a guide to get started – it talks about nutrition and the exact process from germination to transplantation. Also, you can easily find all the information you need online – and even on YouTube. As for the nutrients; those are easily available at a local nursery or Home Depot.
And yes, the guide that we share with your order shows you exactly how much nutrition is needed, the ideal temperature for each plant, the pH level that must be maintained, and more.
We do not sell the lights set up by themselves – we do have another 48 plants and an 80 plant system with the LED grow lights.
No, We currently only offer a 6 layer, 8 layer, and a 10 layer set up on a single tower – as that is governed mainly by the force of the water pump. Any more layers would require not just an additional water pump, but also a higher capacity reservoir with the additional nutrients.
Unfortunately, we cannot grow root-based vegetables using the towers. However, the shelf system we have does accommodate limited room for a small selection of veggies like turnips, baby potatoes, etc. – typically more bulb-shaped fruits and not longer ones like carrots and radishes.
The two most important things you would need to get started are the seeds and the nutrients. I personally think the best option would be to head to your nearest Home Depot or Lowe’s and talk to the specialist there – only because you can then have a 1-on-1 conversation with them regarding what you plan to grow, what your weather conditions are like, and what are your yield expectations.
Based on the type of plants you would like to grow, they would then advise you on the nutrients. I’d stay away from making online purchases at least until you get a good understanding of the type of seeds you purchase and then the type of nutrients.
It’s all a learning process – but an easy one.
You would not need anything else to get started – the net pots are included, and those you can reuse – and buy replacements online for cheap.
The hydro tower with LED lights is a vertical tower and water (and nutrients) are supplied from a sprinkler head on top – the water flows through each site before it trickles down. The roots get their nutrients thru this process – of water flowing through them and then get the oxygen when the water cycle stops.
The PRO shelf system has the nutrients flowing in trays and the roots are almost always in contact with the water except when the water cycle stops for the oxygen. The system is more gentle on the plants and they grow on trays and not on towers.
The tray setup generally produces a faster harvest as compared to the towers. Also, the shelf system has its own germination bed – of about 85 sites in addition to the 72 sites that the tower offers. It also has a control panel that helps control lighting levels and timing.
The PRO hydro Shelf system is about 5′-6″ in height and 3′ in width and 18″ in depth, and has about 9″ of clearance between trays.
Why do you not ship the Nutrients along with the system?
The nutrients and the seeds are 2 things that we intentionally leave out of our systems – that’s because we do not want hydroponic garden owners to be tied down to what they can grow and what they cannot.
The other competing systems offer pods and seeds and those are heavily marked up – and they tie you down to what can be grown, and what nutrients to use.
Seeds and nutrients are widely available and can be bought from your local hardware store or nursery. You can literally grow anything in our systems if it can be grown hydroponically. And you can easily get the seeds and nutrients for exactly what you plan to grow without spending extra.
The price we have is a LOT less compared to the competition – and our systems grow twice as much, twice as fast, because of the patented design, designed by a sustainable architect. Visit our website to see the comparison and learn more about the owner.
The systems have a nutrient chamber that can be filled with water and does not need to be connected to ta water supply. The water capacity is about 7 gallons and would last about 2 weeks.
The 72 pot PRO shelf tower and the 80 pot garden tower with LED lights should both help with your needs – it is usually sufficient for a family of 4-5 without any issues as long as you keep the planting cycles running – without having to wait for harvest and then replant – as it takes about 3-4 weeks for a plant like lettuce or most herbs to grow.
All our products are covered by a 1-year warranty in which the seller or manufacturer guarantees remedies for product defects for one year from the date of sale. During that time, Nutraponics will repair or replace the product if such defects are present.
You do not need an additional/supplemental source of light if you place the towers outdoors or close a window where you can get about 8 hrs of daylight
In addition to a simple 24W powered water pump the 80- plant tower with the grow lights has the use of LED.

Based on a national average of $0.12c per kWh, and a 16 hr daily average use of the LED lights, the Cost Per Year is estimated at $6.31 per light. We have 12 of these per tower, so the total cost of use of the tower would be $75/year.
